
Donald Goldmann is Senior Vice President at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) as well as a Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the Harvard School of Public Health. At The Children’s Hospital, he serves as Medical Director of Quality Improvement and Infection Control, and as Vice Chair for Health Outcomes of the Department of Medicine. Dr. Goldmann has extensive experience in collaborative quality improvement work, most recently as a consultant to the Vermont Oxford Neonatal Network’s NIC/Q. He is Program Director for the AHRQ-funded Harvard-wide Institutional NRSA Child Health Services Research Training Program. He is a Co-Investigator on an AHRQ DCERPS patient safety grant for neonatal intensive care, as well as a Co-Investigator for the Center of Excellence study: Ambulatory Medication Errors and Adverse Drug Events (ADEs) in Pediatrics. He received his AB in History from Harvard College and his MD from Harvard Medical School.
