
Christopher P. Landrigan, M.D., M.P.H. is an Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, a pediatric hospitalist, and Research Director of The Children’s Hospital Inpatient Pediatrics Service. Following a pediatrics internship and residency at The Children’s Hospital Boston, Dr. Landrigan designed a fellowship that combined further training in inpatient pediatrics with research training through the Clinical Effectiveness Program at The Children’s Hospital. He completed an MPH at the Harvard School of Public Health in 2000, and subsequently took a faculty position at The Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He has been evaluating pediatric hospitalist systems and patient safety for several years, and has written multiple articles in both fields. He is particularly interested in the impact of sleep deprivation and working conditions on patient safety.
