Jeffrey M. Rothschild, M.D.
Jeffrey Rothschild is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School as well as an Associate Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Newton Wellesley Hospital. Dr. Rothschild is currently Project Leader for the Center of Excellence study: Safe Intravenous Infusion Systems. He received his BA in Biology from State University of New York at Albany and his MD from Medical College of Wisconsin. From 1982-1988, Dr. Rothschild was the Associate Director of Medical/Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, Clinical Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology/Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and a Founder/Director of Critical Care/Pulmonary Consultants in Pittsburgh in 1989. He later received his MPH at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. He completed a research fellowship in Clinical Informatics at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He joined the Brigham and Women's Hospital in 1998.
